Unlike the “studio shots” done of your children at the mall, custom photography provides you with the luxury of hiring a professional photographer to deliver images that capture your child’s true personality taking whatever time is necessary to go beyond physical appearance and into the essence of your child being photographed.
Session Rates
On-Location session fee - $225
Location session fee is designed for up to 3 people within the immediate family ($25 for each additional person) and it takes place at your home, local park, or other location of your choice within a 30-mile radius of Washington D.C. Please call for travel rates to other areas.
The session fee pays for the time and talent of the photographer and does not include prints or other wall portrait collections and products. Full session fee payment is required at the time of booking in order to reserve your portrait session date and time.
Portrait Collection and Products
Portraits of our children and family are our most prized and priceless possessions. Our special approach to photographing children and families allow us to create portraits for our clients that are seen as art in their homes. We produce priceless images that will last forever as they become a family's treasured heirlooms to be passed on for generations to come. For this reason, we encourage our clients to invest in a large wall piece, rather than several smaller prints that may be lost in the room.
You may choose to have your favorite image displayed as a framed artist canvas, or turned into a fine art piece, or display it as a small desk art frame. Our prices range from $231 for a 11x14 framed portrait up to $1,840 for an elegant and very popular 30x40 fine art framed canvas. Wall Portrait Collections, which includes a custom DVD slideshow of your session images, begin at $672. The average total cost of most client engagements range around $1,500.
